Below are the services offered to the senior citizens, the elderly and people of determination at Awqaf’s Building:

  • Car parking spaces for use which are close to the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments Building gate.
  • Designated waiting areas.

Below are the services offered to the senior citizens, the elderly and people of determination at the UAE official Fatwa Centre:

  • Car parking spaces in front of the Centre are intended for people of determination. The Centre also offers ramps for wheelchair users and guidance markings on the floor designated for the visually-impaired people.
  • The Centre provides the public with a range of services to respond to their enquiries on mobile phone, SMS and website. This service enables people of determination to contact Muftis without being physically present at the Centre and asking the Mufti.
  • The Centre has also offered visually-impaired people the chance to listen to Fatwas published on the website so that they can choose the Fatwa they want to listen to.
  • Priority is given to people of determination regarding the services offered by the UAE official Fatwa Centre.
  • Awqaf edited the Islamic Education syllabuses, including teaching students the Fiqh (jurisprudence) rulings as per a curriculum approved at the Centre. All these books are printed in Braille and audio-recorded.

Below are the services offered to the senior citizens, the elderly and people of determination at the Pilgrims’ Affairs Office:

  • The senior citizens of Haj and Umra campaigns are granted the service of relinquish the permit to undertake the Haj and Umra enterprise to anybody else.
  • Priority is given to the senior citizens and people of determination in case they attend the department. There, they are treated with painstaking attention, and their needs are fulfilled.
  • Priority is given to the senior citizens and people of determination regarding the Haj permits.
  • Administrative permits are given to sign language interpreters in order to meet the people of determination needs.
  • Welcoming and bidding farewell to pilgrims of the senior citizens and people of determination. All flight procedures are finalised at the UAE and Saudi Arabia airports.
  • The Pilgrims’ Affairs Office provides the senior citizens and people of determination with wheelchairs in the tents of Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifa.
  • The Pilgrims’ Affairs Office sets up accommodations and restrooms as per the specifications and requirements that adapt to the senior citizens and people of determination in the sacred sites.

Below are the services offered to the senior citizens, the elderly and people of determination at the Holy Quran Memorisation Centres:

  • Offering the Quran learning and memorisation service to tutors of people of determination by creating classes designed for them via multiple channels, including face-to-face and online learning. All necessities are met so as to offer this service as per the standards and requirements that adapt to this category.
  • Providing the Quran learning and memorisation service to tutors of senior citizens by creating classes designed for them via multiple channels, including face-to-face and online learning via the smart platform for the Quran memorisation. All facilities are guaranteed to offer this service as per the standards and requirements that adapt to this category.
