The preparatory Haj delegation leaves for the Holy Sites
The preparatory Haj delegation of the UAE Haj Mission departed from the Abu Dhabi International airport heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to set the mission offices prepared in Mecca and Medina to receive the Emirati pilgrims and provide them with the necessary services in the holy sites.
The delegation will be tasked with preparing the tents for pilgrims in Mina, Arafa and Muzdalifah and completing the required procedures regarding the contracts and arrangements as agreed with the competent authorities.
For his part, Dr Mohamed Matar Al-Kaabi, Head of UAE Pilgrims' Affairs Bureau, underlined the Bureau’s keen interest in making this year's season a success by making the early preparation and providing a favourable environment for pilgrims in the holy sites.
He said that this endeavour is made according to plans and strategies that consider offering the first-rate services that make pilgrims content.
He also said that the mission members are inspired by the UAE's wise leadership vision emphasising the necessity of taking advantage of opportunities and modern technology to ensure success and distinction.
Dr Al-Kaabi expressed his deep appreciation for the exceptional care given by HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, his Deputy HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highness the Rulers of the Emirates, praising the considerable efforts exerted by the King of Saudi Arabia, his Crown Prince and government to serve pilgrims.
