The UAE Pilgrims Affairs Office reviews the committees preparedness

The UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office reviewed the tasks assigned to the committees and the preparedness of all executive and operational plans to serve the Emirati pilgrims and help them perform the rites of Haj at ease during the 1443 AH season. This came as part of the Office’s keen interest in achieving the sought-for goals and providing a convenient environment for pilgrims to perform the Haj at ease and in comfort, meeting their needs and fulfilling wise leadership aspirations. The aim is to achieve success for this year’s season starting from the arrival of the Emirati pilgrims in the holy sites until their return home while bearing in mind the application of the precautionary and preventive measures in order to ensure the pilgrims’ health and safety. This came during the preparatory meeting held at the Office headquarters in Mecca and presided over by HE Dr Omar Habtoor al-Direi, the Executive Director for the Islamic Affairs and Assistant Deputy Head of UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Office, to discuss the latest preparations to receive pilgrims in the coming few days. The committees discussed ways to establish cooperation and coordination and reviewed the shared plans to overcome all challenges that may pilgrims face by implementing the suggestions and recommendations. Dr al-Direi reiterated the necessity of adopting a preventive approach in coping with challenges in the holy sites, especially when pilgrims have to perform Haj rites in a limited time and be present in overcrowded people. He stressed the importance of abiding by the preventive measures in the mission headquarters and beyond. Dr al-Direi praised the efforts exerted by the UAE’s prudent leadership and their unwavering support and hailed Saudi Arabia's endeavour to offer all services necessary for pilgrims from all over the world.
