The UAE Haj Mission leaves for the Holy Sites

The UAE Official Haj Mission departed on Tuesday, 28th June, via the Abu Dhabi International Airport, heading to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to undertake its Mission to serve Emirati pilgrims in the holy sites and manage their affairs in Mecca and Medina and provide them with the best-rate services that help them perform Haj in peace and ease. Dr Mohamed Matar Al-Kaabi, Chairman of Awqaf and UAE Head of UAE Pilgrims’ Affairs Bureau, shed light on the exceptional care Awqaf and Haj Mission receive from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, his Deputy HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highness the Rulers of the Emirates and follow-up of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs. Dr al-Kaabi also underscored the unwavering financial and moral support given by the UAE leadership for the Haj Mission in the footsteps of the approach first adopted by the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed, and praised the considerable efforts exerted by the King, government and people of Saudi Arabia and the role played by Emirati campaigns that run the affairs of Emirati pilgrims in the sacred sites. He urged all mission members to do everything in their power to offer excellent services in a way that fulfils the pilgrims' expectations and aspirations and work around the clock in total harmony and coordination with pilgrims and check on their situation and make them feel at ease so that they perform their Haj rites correctly in accordance with the rulings of Islam. For his part, HE Mohamed Saeed al-Neyadi, Director-General of Awqaf and Deputy Head of UAE Pilgrims' Affairs Bureau, said that the Mission is fully prepared to serve pilgrims, revealing that the preparatory Haj committee had departed seven days before to check on the readiness of mission offices in Mecca and Medina and receive the tents in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah. He also said that the Haj committee had reached a record high of completion according to the outlined plans in coordination and collaboration with the UAE Pilgrims' Affairs Bureau.
