THE DONOR'S FAMILY AND OFFSPRING

It is what the endower restricts to himself and his offspring, male and female, both of them or some members only. The endowment should, however, go to the benefit of other parties once the eligible members of the donor's family have perished.

It includes:

  • The Waqf for ties of blood is wider as its revenues benefit not only the sons and daughters of the donor but also his grandsons and granddaughters as well as the rest of his blood relatives.

The Waqf aims at, but not limited to:

  • To honour the ties of kinship and allow philanthropists to do good to their relatives.
  • To achieve solidarity and ensure better living conditions for the family.
  • To achieve friendliness, communication and intimacy and strengthen family bonds.
  • To comply with Allah's instructions to ask for forgiveness for oneself and others.
  • To protect oneself from afflictions and seek well-being.
