Preparatory Hajj Mission leaves to Holy Places
In a statement, His Excellency Mohamed Saeed al-Neyadi, Director-General of Awqaf, said that the UAE preparatory Haj mission is set to leave for the Sacred lands on Thursday 25 July 2019 to receive the preliminary Haj campaigns which are scheduled to arrive on 31 July 2019.
He added that the remaining Haj campaigns will be arriving in Mecca respectively via the Jeddah international airport starting from 5 August 2019.
HE Mohamed Saeed al-Neyadi pointed out that the preparatory Haj mission will be receiving Haj campaigns at the airports and transporting them to their accommodations and fulfilling their needs.
“The preparatory mission will also be charged with furnishing the official Haj headquarters located in Mecca, Medina as well as the pilgrims’ tents in Mina, Arafa and Muzdalifa,” said al-Neyadi, affirming that the official Haj mission will be arriving in full on 1 August 2019.”
Awqaf’s Director-General called on the entire Haj campaigns and pilgrims to prepare themselves to perform this ritual from spiritual, social and national perspectives and to abide by the medical and administrative procedures and instructions that reflect the bright images of tolerance, cooperation and authentic Emirati values.
He also urged UAE pilgrims to continuously stay in contact with the official Haj mission and its committees so that for the latter can help pilgrims perform Haj with comfort and mitigate any hurdle or problem that may be facing them.
