MoU signed between the Islamic Affairs and the Armed Forces Cooperative Society
The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (Awqaf) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Armed Forces Cooperative Society (AFCOOP) to consolidate communication channels and promote the bridges of cooperation. The aim is to achieve the joint goals and offer high-quality services for Awqaf’s personnel happiness.
The memorandum of understanding was signed on behalf of Awqaf by His Excellency Mohamed Saeed Al-Neyadi, Director-General of Awqaf, and on behalf of the AFCOOP by His Excellency Abdullah Saeed Nehail Al-Nuaimi, Director-General of the AFCOOP. The signing ceremony was attended by a host of officials of both sides.
The MoU stipulates that the Armed Forces Cooperative Society provides its services at the Awqaf’s headquarters, in addition to offers granted to Awqaf’s personnel all over the country in accordance with the procedures seen by the AFCOOP suitable with the aim to meet the Awqaf’s needs of foodstuff and many other services.
For his part, HE Mohamed Saeed Al-Neyadi, Awqaf’s Director-General, stressed the Islamic Affairs keen interest in creating a favourable environment for all Awqaf’s staff for the sake of their happiness so that they can perform their jobs in complete comfort and be creative and demonstrate their talents.
“This goal is consistent with the directives of the UAE wise leadership and in line with the UAE government strategy”, said Al-Neyadi.
Awqaf’s Director-General highlighted Awqaf’s endeavour to strengthen the bridges of cooperation and cement effective communication channels with all the country’s institutions, and exchange the visions, ideas, and expertise to attain the sought-for growth and development.
Concluding his statement, Al-Neyadi praised the Armed Forces Cooperative Society experience and its activities across the country.
For his part, HE Abdullah Saeed Nehail Al-Nuaimi, Director-General of the AFCOOP, extended the thankfulness and gratitude to the Islamic Affairs for the trust it had placed in the Society by choosing it to sign the MoU to offer its services to Awqaf’s personnel.
He said that the AFCOOP had the potential and the experience required to offer the services with high professionalism and quality.
It is worth mentioning that the AFCOOP has branches in most of the country’s Emirates and plans to further extend all over the country in a way that helps it to offer the services as mentioned in this agreement.
It also continues to occupy its crucial role in securing the strategic stock of food commodities and offering its services in all the country’s Emirates consistent with the UAE prudent leadership priorities.
