Fatwa Issuance


Contributing to the happiness of Fatwa seekers by offering Fatwas through multiple channels, including phone, email and SMS in multiple languages and covering all the fields of Shariaa. The ultimate goal is to enhance happiness and wellbeing in the community.
Flexible Working Hours
This is a system that allows employees of Awqaf to choose suitable work timings provided they meet the required daily or weekly number of working hours. Such freedom in selecting work timings is subject to the nature and rank of the job. Certain employees may sometimes be required to be present at work at certain periods. The ultimate goal of the initiative is to enhance happiness and wellbeing in the community.
Mosque Construction and Facilitating Congregational Prayer
Contributing to the happiness of worshipers by facilitating prayer performance and building smart and eco-friendly mosques that also feature distinct innovative designs and colours in consistence with the Islamic architecture. Such mosques offer many services that are conducive to promote the mosque goers’ happiness, such as: prayer timings, locating the nearest mosque, Qibla direction, Dhikr, mosque lessons, mosques information and pictures, and submitting suggestions and feedback. The ultimate goal is to enhance happiness and wellbeing in the community.
Happiness of Pilgrims

Contributing to the happiness of pilgrims by offering them a variety of innovative services that included the Hajj electronic registration system which helped in bringing down the cost of Hajj packages about 50 percent. Services also included sending awareness messages about Hajj rituals to pilgrims as well as posting awareness videos in this regard on Awqaf’s website and smart app. Distinguished services were also provided to UAE pilgrims at the holy sites, such as constructing camps at Arafat and Mina, providing pilgrims with religious lectures and ensuring safe and healthy environment for them. The ultimate goal is to enhance happiness and wellbeing in the community.
Nursery
Employees’ happiness is an initiative that is aimed at offering a solution for the mothers employed at Awqaf to take care of their little ones, and thereby achieve mental and social stability for the mothers and their families. Such stability will reflect positively on their stability at work and, thus, their level of performance and productivity. Moreover, it further reflects a civilised approach towards to a social, humane and educational necessity. The initiative is also consistent with the UAE’s vision to promote the status of childhood and motherhood and develop human resources. The concept of the initiative is to establish child care rooms for the Awqaf’s female employees’ children.
Reading and Innovation Lab
Contributing to the happiness of employees by conducting brainstorming sessions to discuss Awqaf’s projects, systems and programmes in an innovative manner, bringing members from all departments together. This will reflect positively on attaining a good number of developmental ideas and suggestions that may contribute to offering a happy and positive work environment and promoting cooperation amongst employees, helping them to achieve professional development and spreading the culture of development and growth. In addition to that, it is aimed at appreciating employees’ achievements at work.
Promoting religious awareness of Emirati youths
Contributing to the happiness of Emirati youths and interacting with the national initiative to promote religious awareness of the Emirati young generations in terms of love of the nation, preservation of national identity, loyalty to the leadership and maintaining strong bonds with the family. This is done in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Community Development, the aim being to increase happiness and wellbeing.
Waqf support for indigent families
Contributing to the happiness of Quran memorisation students by receiving and addressing their calls (Quran800) and integrating the sessions with the smart platform in order to further facilitate access to the Quran memorisation service from home without the need for physical attendance at the Quran memorisation centres. The ultimate goal is to enhance happiness and wellbeing in the community.

Innovation Forums
Contributing to the happiness of employees by conducting innovative knowledge forums for exchanging expertise and learning about the best practices in their field of work. This is done through holding a series of workshops and brainstorming sessions related to innovation. During such workshops and sessions, members from all departments present their innovative ideas. This contributes to promoting employees’ happiness through aligning their aspirations with those of the Awqaf.
Happiness Corner
Contributing to the happiness of employees by implementing the “Happiness Corner” project with a design that features innovation, the aim being to promote internal communication and strengthen bonds amongst employees. This is achieved through encouraging team work and building trust and loyalty amongst employees, allowing them the opportunity to work in an unconventional way. As a result, they will enjoy comfort and security at work, strengthen their relationships with one another, and accept cultural diversity. Finding support through such tools at work, will also contribute to developing employees’ mental, physical and psychological health, and instil positivity inside them.
