A Delegation Of Islamic Affairs Visits Saudi Arabia To Discuss Hajj Arrangements

A delegation from the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments visited the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met those responsible for Hajj affairs, and discussed with them the necessary arrangements for the pilgrims of the UAE. The delegation also discussed the joint coordination mechanism in everything related to creating an ideal environment that enables the pilgrims to perform the Hajj with comfort, tranquility, and happiness in line with the directives and aspirations of our wise leadership, which emphasizes upgrading the services provided to pilgrims of the state and providing them with all means of comfort during the holy rituals. The delegation, which included His Excellency Mohammed Saeed Al Neyadi, Director General of the Authority, His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Darei, Executive Director of Islamic Affairs in the Authority, and some of its officials, praised the support that the Authority and the official Hajj mission enjoy from HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State - May Allah protect him - and his brother, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE , and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses The Rulers of The Emirates, praising the great efforts made by the Kingdom, under the leadership of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques and HRH The Crown Prince, in developing the affairs of Hajj and taking care of the pilgrims and their safety. The delegation visited also the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom, met some of its officials, was briefed on the health preparations that the Kingdom is taking to receive the pilgrims, and discussed the joint cooperation regarding the safety and health care of pilgrims. The delegation also held a meeting with the "Tawafa Establishment for South East Asian Pilgrims" regarding the residences and camps of state pilgrims in Mina, Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Arafat, and the mechanism of joint communication and coordination, in addition to holding a number of meetings with authorities related to providing services to pilgrims during the Hajj season this year and visions and suggestions were exchanged on providing the highest standards in services.
